Obzor is a small coastal town located on the Black Sea coast, surrounded by vineyards, forests and fields. It lies on the edge of the Balkan Mountains that slope towards the Black Sea and stretch along the Dvoynitsa River. It is known for its calm and clear waters, healthy air and golden beaches. The Obzor beach front is one of the largest in this region. The low shore reveals an open horizon to the east. The calm sea is perfect for swimming, surfing and water skiing. Town’s population is approximately 2000 and it is situated approximately 35 km from the Sunny Beach resort, 60 km (less than an hour drive) from the two international airports and major Bulgarian coastal cities of Varna and Bourgas.
